LAST SUMMER'S TEST RESULTS FROM MIDDLE SCHOOL

SPEED, POWER, AND AGILITY CAMP SESSION

These results were achieved in 24 sessions (six weeks).  As you can see, these guys have ALL improved speed, agility, explosive power, and endurance.

    I have attached the pre and post test results from the 6 week program.  Some participants do not have both pre and post test results.  This is due to them being absent on the days of the tests.  I wish everyone would have complete tests...it would only make the results that much more impressive.  For those with complete tests...the results speak for themselves!

 

To help you understand the chart:

VJ =  Vertical Jump:  This is measured in inches and fractions of inches.  It measures lower body explosive power.  Improvement in this test relates to greater speed, agility, and quickness.

AVERAGE VJ IMPROVEMENT FOR THE GROUP 3.5 INCHES!!

Bench = Bench Press:  This is measured by calculating the total number of repetitions the athlete can achieve with a weight of 55 lbs.  Improvement in this test relates to greater upper body strength.

AVERAGE REPETITION IMPROVEMENT FOR THE GROUP  IS 6 REPS!!!

40 = yard dash:  Measured in seconds and fractions of a second.  Measures pure speed.

AVERAGE 40 YARD DASH IMPROVEMENT FOR GROUP IS  -.33 SECONDS!!!

FitRun = Fitness Run:  Measured in minutes and seconds.   Relates to athletic endurance. 

AVERAGE FITNESS RUN TIME IMPROVEMENT FOR THE GROUP IS  -45 SECONDS!!!
